Life does not end with a dementia diagnosis; maintaining an active role in daily life is essential in helping people with dementia to live as well as possible. Encouraging routines that promote physical and social activity helps individuals express themselves, stay connected and retain a sense of purpose. By focusing on activities that align with their interests, people living with dementia can continue to experience fulfillment and maintain their quality of life.

Dementia Bermuda offers daily classes that are free of charge in an engaging, creative and safe environment. The activities include music therapy, singing for memories, chair yoga, chair exercises and many more. This programme provides people with the opportunity to gather daily, break the monotony of their home-life and take part in meaningful and purposeful activity.

We do require that caregivers remain on site during the activities.
