Occupational Therapist

Alleisha is an occupational therapist with experience supporting individuals to live safely and independently within their homes and communities. She began her career at Bermuda Hospitals Board in 2019 and joined Northstar Dementia in 2024 as an independent contractor, providing in-home support to individuals living with dementia and their families.

Following the merger of Northstar Dementia and Dementia Bermuda, Alleisha transitioned into a full-time role within Dementia Bermuda’s In-Home Occupational Therapy team. She works closely with individuals and caregivers to identify practical approaches that help reduce stress, improve safety, and support daily routines at home. Her work includes cognitive and environmental assessments, caregiver education, adaptive strategies, and ongoing support as needs change over time.

Alleisha is passionate about helping people remain safe, supported, and as independent as possible in familiar surroundings, while helping families navigate the realities of long-term dementia care.
